Community Service
Community service is the foundation of every Emblem Club. Our members volunteer countless hours each year to meet the unique needs of the communities they call home.
From supporting local charities to organizing fundraisers and lending a helping hand where it's needed most, our clubs make a lasting impact throughout Massachusetts.
Our service efforts often include:

Americanism
Patriotism has always been a cornerstone of Emblem Club. The Massachusetts State Association proudly promotes respect for the American flag, the Constitution, and the freedoms we enjoy as citizens.
Our clubs honor veterans, support patriotic observances, and encourage civic responsibility through participation in community ceremonies and educational programs.

Scholarships & Grant-in-Aid
Investing in education is an investment in the future. The Massachusetts State Association proudly supports scholarship opportunities that help deserving students pursue higher education.
In addition to encouraging participation in the Supreme Emblem Club Scholarship Program, many of our local clubs award scholarships within their own communities, recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Through fundraising and charitable giving, our members help remove financial barriers so students can continue their educational journey.
The Grant-in-Aid Program recognizes that educational success should be accessible to everyone. This program provides financial assistance to eligible Emblem members and their families who are pursuing higher education while facing physical or developmental challenges.
Literacy
The ability to read changes lives. The Massachusetts State Association supports literacy initiatives that encourage reading, lifelong learning, and educational success for children and adults alike.

Drug Prevention
Education is one of the strongest tools in preventing substance abuse. Through the National Drug Awareness Program, the Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs supports local efforts to educate individuals and families about the dangers of drug misuse.
Our members participate in community awareness initiatives, partner with local organizations, and support programs that encourage healthy choices, informed decision-making, and positive lifestyles for people of all ages.

Charitable Fund
Our State Charitable Fund raises money through the generosity of our members, local clubs, and fundraising events held throughout the year.
The Massachusetts State Association is proud to support Rise Above, a Massachusetts nonprofit dedicated to helping children in foster care succeed despite the challenges they face.
Rise Above provides experiences and opportunities that many children take for granted—from school activities and summer camp to music lessons, sports, prom attire, and educational support. By helping meet these important needs, Rise Above empowers children and teens in foster care to build confidence, create lasting memories, and reach their full potential.
Our members are honored to contribute to this important mission through fundraising efforts and charitable giving, helping ensure that children in foster care have access to opportunities that enrich their lives and inspire brighter futures.
